Entre las más destacadas corrientes referidas a los estilos de aprendizaje quizás como se observa en el gráfico donde el 90% aprende al decir y hacer, el constructivismo de Vigotsky sería más acertado para llegar a la metacognición.

This is called the “matching hypothesis,” or the “meshing hypothesis.” Unfortunately for its supporters, and despite many attempts to prove its validity, it’s not supported by evidence-based research.

I can conclude that if the teachers adapt the instructional approach to the material, the results will be more favorable for all students, regardless of their learning style.

Este es un asunto controvertido que se entiende de modos diversos y ello conduce a que muchos autores pongan incluso en tela de juicio la misma existencia de los estilos de aprendizaje. ¿Existen realmente los estilos de aprendizaje?

It wouldn’t come as a shock for most teachers to hear that the way students learn things differs from child to child. Some may absorb more from a hands-on experiment while others only need to see a diagram. I believe that if we understand our learning styles we can identify our strengths and weaknesses. therefore, we could identify see that others can learn differently. But the most important thing is that whatever the style, the objective is the same, that is, to learn in the best way to obtain the best results.
