The year of Big Data has come and gone. Yes, we can all access more data and information than we ever imagined—now what? Since we all have the ability to access almost all information it does not make us smarter or more interesting than anyone else. When research was difficult and time-consuming to conduct, having deep-rooted library science and other research capabilities was a more meaningful differentiator of talent.
