Why would anyone want to ‘decolonise the curriculum’, and what does this mean for academic study? Like the word ‘democracy’, ‘decolonisation’ can mean different things. Here I offer three interpretations of what it means to ‘decolonise the curriculum’ and how they can make our universities better places.
