That's why communities of practice are a great tool to build a sense of belonging to a Learning Community. Without that e-Learning is a cold and artificial learning that requires a lot of self-discipline and willingness to learn (which is not easy to find in common students). Maybe that's why solutions like Blended-learning seem to be more balanced and ensure more successful learning.
