I know that many of you who are reading this article may feel frustrated, and may feel that your career dreams are slipping through your fingers. You may even believe that on some days all of the work that you are doing daily is a waste of time.
I am here to tell you that it isn't!
Just remember, all you can do is what is within your control. Stay positive, remain motivated, and continue to do the work. Continue to do research on your target industry and job.
Once you have done your homework on what skills, projects, experience, and technology you need to learn to be considered for a job...start working on those skills today. Self teach yourself on software on lynda.com, take some free courses on edx from Harvard to get the certificates on your resume, volunteer somewhere to get the project experience as you are doing good for the community.
You see, you will be so busy developing your skills to groom you for the next position that you will feel motivated, and soon that target job will be within your reach.
