The difference between how you approach a college interview vs. a job interview:
Approach to colleges should be to achieve the best grades, showcase varied hobbies and interests, and to be a well-rounded interesting human being.
Applying to jobs is different. Its not about showcasing how great you are and the long list of ways you are interesting. What the employer wants to know is ..... What can you do for us? Are you a right fit? How much value can you add to the position, the department, and the company?

I especially agree with the statement that there are two main reasons why someone doesn't get hired: 1. “you’re not showing the employer how you will help them add value,”

Also, they provide compliementary career advice, resume development, faxing, internet, and will assist with telephone and video interviews.
Also, many of my past employees in the past have been able to go back to school for valuable certifications and degrees which have given them the needed leg up on a new career.
It is so important that we keep everyone in the know of the valuable and free resources that are available.
