Way different than Apple TV! Airserver let's you go FULLSCREEN with everything (except landscape apps like Temple Run). Great for apps (some), pictures, websites, but not for video. And, you don't need another device. For the price it is worth a try.

Technology has dramatically expanded a teacher's available classroom resources. So my options are available, and many continue to be introduced daily. Teachers can find online resources for just about any subject or content area. All are designed to help students develop their skills and learn new technology. As educators, we should be building our resource toolbox and frequently reviewing due to the new application available.

A progressive classroom teacher is always on the lookout for new resources to implement in their lesson plans and assignment creation. Some of the tech tools that I currently use in the classroom and some that I will be using in the near future. Hippocampus, How Stuff Works, and Raz Kids amongst others, are tech tools that have great reviews and have been used and proved to be effective by actual classroom teachers. The computer or tablet is only a means to an end and the classroom teachers should be vigilant when allowing students to engage online programs and tech apps to allow for proper digital citizenship and learner engagement. |
