Big Four consultancy Deloitte has announced the launch of Deloitte Private, a sub-branch of Deloitte Luxembourg that will specialise in advisory services to family businesses, small and medium-sized enterprises and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI).
The move follows the decision by Deloitte Group worldwide to combine core audit, council and fiscal expertise under a single brand.
Deloitte Private Luxembourg – together with the consultancy's historical company in the Grand Duchy, Fiduciaire Générale de Luxembourg, an accountancy practice with 25 employees that serves private businesses – will provide family business, risk advisory and tax services.
Pierre-Jean Estagerie, a partner at Deloitte's tax department, told the Luxembourg Times: "Our aim is to provide a multi-expertise team on dedicated projects, with an in-depth experience on these segments of customers."
The Deloitte Private network has similar branches in Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK.
